Honouring archbishop emeritus Desmond Tutu
about the campaign
Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has gained a reputation for his pearls of wisdom, insight into human nature and active role in promoting social cohesion for a truly democratic South Africa. As Kagiso Trust marked its 30th anniversary of sustainable contribution to poverty alleviation, education and empowerment, they invited all South Africans to share with the world exactly how the Arch has made an impression in their lives.
Known as the “Ode to Arch”, this campaign aimed to motivate people to share their thoughts about the Arch and how he has inspired their lives by sending their views through our social media and website platforms. These insights were collected in a specially published book that was presented to the Arch.
SHI ran a digital campaign for Kagiso Trust and hosted a celebrity luncheon for the campaign.
